I was first introduced to the Goldstein Law Office in the spring of 2025. My uncle had been using them for a property dispute with a neighbor. They helped him get to a very favorable resolution to this difficult issue. After that, my aunt needed to draw up estate documents, but after having gone onto hospice herself, she was unable to travel without great difficulty. This is where the Goldstein office went above and beyond. Three of them came to my aunt's home to work with her on drawing up her will and other essential documents. They had previously, (and wisely), recommended she have a cognitive test performed by her doctor ahead of time. This was supporting documentation to ensure her final wishes were followed. Additionally, the lawyers showed incredible foresight by engaging my aunt in light conversation before getting to the business of the estate documents. They made notes of her mental acuity, to further support her being of sound mind. All of these actions proved indispensable when estranged relatives challenged her final wishes. Finally, they stood ready to support in any way, insuring the distribution of her estate was done according to her direction. I recently received a cease and desist letter from Mr. Vanderpol at Goldstein Law Office PLLC, claiming that my actions made his clients feel uncomfortable and unsafe. Unfortunately, this letter was sent without a full understanding of the situation. I manage multiple disabilities, including intractable tremors and myoclonic jerks, which cause uncontrollable physical movements. These were not considered or discussed before the letter was issued, leading to what felt like a discriminatory assumption about my behavior.

This experience was disheartening, as a brief conversation or inquiry could have clarified the situation and avoided unnecessary escalation. I urge Mr. Vanderpol and the firm to take the time to fully understand the context of a case, especially when disabilities may be involved, to prevent similar misunderstandings.

I am open to revising or removing this review if Mr. Vanderpol or the firm addresses my concerns and demonstrates a commitment to more thorough and inclusive communication in the future.

We've worked with Goldstein on a couple property items which was very helpful. When we got to a point where they needed to refer us on they made a great referral to another local company that was also great!
