I won my case, but for a fraction of what I should have. My case was handled horribly from the very beginning. The paralegal was one of the most unorganized people I've ever met, and my lawyer was very forgetful. I had to steer everybody for the win. I honestly should have demanded they take a reduced percentage. I won some money but it took way too long, everyone was an unorganized disaster, and the communication was horrendous. I highly recommend you use another firm. Save your sanity. Don't say someone didn't warn you. D-

Last month I was in an accident. I wasn't sure if the state could incur liability for the road conditions leading to the accident. Having read articles on Ms. Goff previously, and as a fellow Quinnipiac alum, she came to mind first to see if someone in the office could have a conversation with me. I submitted a message through the website one evening, expecting to speak with an investigator or paralegal in the coming days. Perhaps 15 minutes later, around 7:30pm, Ms. Goff herself is calling me on her ride home. She was incredibly kind and generous with her time and advice. More so, she was honest and up front based on her experiences in the past. While there was no case, I appreciated the additional advice that she gave surrounding the case and that she was up front about the unlikelihood of finding fault with the state, and the discussion of the risk vs benefit of moving anything forward. While the end result is that our relationship is not continuing at this time, it's through her personal outreach, compassion, honesty & transparency that I have now spoken about her to a number of my colleagues and friends, and leave this review. These are the sorts of interactions that demonstrate integrity and build a brand. Well done Ms. Goff, I hope to never need your services again, but if I do, you'll be my first call!
