I've worked with Nick and his team across a few different matters the past 4 or 5 years now. A divorce, a minor criminal case, a name-change, and a custody modification. So I feel like I have a pretty well-rounded perspective of his work.

My divorce was handled efficiently and was complete within 9 months, so I was very happy with how quickly it ended up being especially with some parts of it being high-conflict.

In the criminal case, he recommended that I complete the diversion program instead of trying to plead guilty to a similar but different charge which is what I really wanted to do to and just pay a fine and get it over with. However, even though the diversion program took more time and effort from me personally, it kept the charge from staying on my record and after-the-fact, now, I am very grateful for that guidance. So glad I just did the diversion and now it can't follow me through life!

The name change was SO easy. I had tried to do it myself at one point without counsel and it's such a tedious process to do yourself so I gave up. Hired Nick, and boom, it was done. Quick and painless.

My custody modification took almost a year, and I will admit, I was pretty outwardly impatient at times which caused Nick and I to disagree and butt-heads a little bit at one point. But we worked together and came to a better understanding of each other. He accomodated how I preferred communication and the frequency of said communication, and he also explained the timeline of these types of cases more efficiently than in the beginning so that my expectations were more aligned with reality. He was almost always just a text message away and I really appreciated that.

And this is nothing personal, but I truly hope I do not need to hire him ever again now! However, in the case that I do, he will be the first person I would call.
