Unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience. We paid over $15,000 for what we understood to be a relatively straightforward guardianship and trust administration matter. Communication was poor, and we often felt that our questions were not fully answered.

In our experience, billing was very detailed and applied to even minor communications or tasks, so I would recommend being very familiar with the process and billing structure before signing a retainer. We also did not feel adequately informed as the retainer balance was being depleted, which is important to consider if cost is a concern.

Overall, I would encourage others to ask detailed questions upfront about communication expectations, billing practices, and retainer updates before moving forward with this firm.
