Review for Frego & Associates
My initial experience with Frego & Associates was great when handling my Chapter 13 case. The process was smooth, and I had no issues making my trustee payments on time for almost a year. However, my experience took a turn due to a serious communication failure from the assigned paralegal.
I was not informed that my Chapter 13 case was at risk of being dismissed due to missing payment statements. Had I been notified, I would have submitted them immediately to avoid any issues. When I realized what had happened, I had to call the firm myself to have my case reinstated. After submitting my bank statements to an attorney, I was assured by Robert that my case was reinstated.
Wanting to be certain, I called again the following week and was told by a staff member that "it looks like it was reinstated." However, two weeks later, I checked my trustee account and found that my case was still inactive—meaning my payments had not been withdrawn.
This experience has caused unnecessary stress and frustration. A law firm handling such important financial matters should prioritize clear and timely communication. I expected more professionalism and diligence from Frego & Associates, and I hope they improve their internal processes to prevent this from happening to others.
