Regrettably used Kari Williams at Frankfort Elder Law, to get a decade old will edited and updated. She quoted and charged with no regret $800 for a simple will to be made. The only changes we wanted made (the original will was half of a page long) were a new address and a deletion of another family member's name that had already passed. The will was to be edited and copied with the new address only. We were in a rush to have this done due to an immediate surgery that resulted in the family member's death, but her price did not reflect our speediness of needing the will. It literally took two weeks!!! After the two weeks, we finally received the will in the mail. To our surprise, it contained several misspellings that were not originally on the will they were given. Because we had to wait well over two weeks, I had no choice but to go online to a website I found to get a new will made and it was only $150. She charged us $800 to re-copy our original will, only make two minor changes, and within doing so someone there misspelled several words and names in the will! I am assuming they typed a new will reading from the original and did not proofread the original. We literally had to throw that will away and it was not needed anyways because we had bought one online for a such lower price. There was no sense in contacting her or the law firm again. Lesson learned. Do your research online, there are better options and even in person better law firms to contact!

My father-in-law was very ill, and his caretaker called this law office and had his will altered leaving everything to her, as well as having her name put on his house. The attorney had her husband witness the documents as well as her paralegal via zoom at my FIL’s house. When my FIL found out what had happened, he was very distraught. My husband and his sisters filed a complaint against this attorney, and his attorney was able to get it sorted, but it took so much away from the last year of his life. This attorney should not be working with the elderly, and I pray you go somewhere else.
