I was referred to Troy Fox a few years back for my Bankruptcy. He appeared to have my best interest at heart at first until he learned that I may get a large amount of money for my mother and son dying in a car accident. Which I didn’t!!!!! It was nickels to what I experienced and pennies after sone was sent to Mr. Fox. When I tried to back out my bankruptcy he blocked that and he threatened my lawyers in California stating he was my lawyer, and he could have them fired. I learned that when you have money to pay your debt, the trustee gets a percent of whatever they can collect to pay your debts off with, so it was beneficial for him to get as much money as he could out of me to pay back ALL my debts. I’m not the one to run from responsibility, but to take advantage of someone who is suffering from a Tremendous loss, that it barely survive because of the pain that’s been eating at her for a dollar is sad! Not too many people know that kind of pain and what it truly does to a person! People do your research. The trustees are not always on your side when they think you have something. I could go into detail or post an email that says all the terrible things he threatened, but I’m not going to do that. Just move with caution. I was blessed to get some help from legal aid. So I advice everyone to go that route first.
