My husband and I were taken back with the belittling coments of my handwriting during the office follow up with Mr Fouts.
If I am remembering correctly, this occured on March 18, 2026 he compared it to someone appeairing to have had or having a seizure or stroke. I am use to writing with better quality pens, the one provided from Fouts broke.
We still intended to use Fouts moving forward with a cashiers check from our bank.
I filled out the information for the cashiers check and our bank did not question my handwriting and the check to and amount was printed correctly.
After my husband and I spoke for a short period that night we chose to hold off and contacted the Fouts Law Group when they opened that morning. that we would not be dropping the check off that afternoon. We provided the reason and said we would be in touch.
He sent "if I offended you" letter as an apology.
After several weeks of talking and praying we still didn't feel any peace from God to move forward with Fouts.
We did consider to possibly move forward but with his partner.
Just recently received a letter with a deadline and a failure to respond and actions that would follow if we did not.
It seems Mr Fouts failed to review our files or didn't care to do so before responding with the deadline. The deadline given was the day after our youngest son's birthdate that has since past. We would not be able to make an informed decision that next month while mouring the loss of our youngest son.
Mr Fouts also mentions numerous attempts to reach us between the dates of March and June.
I have received one if I offended you apology letter and this recent second letter of deadline to respond.
He may have called but I don't answer and delete calls and voicemails that show as spam on my phone.
My husband claims to not have received any phone calls or emails from Mr. Fouts.

Please, be careful who you are choosing to help with your final decisions.
We will not be using Fouts Law Group.

Our experience at Fouts was really wonderful. Having dealt with the loss of a parent with no financial plan, we were determined not to impose that difficulty on our children. Jeff and James explained everything very well and offered several options to meet our needs. Now that our documents are complete, we feel very confident that our children will have everything they need.
