I wondered if my case would ever end. After nearly four years, I can finally say it is over. By the time I came to Forward Legal Services, my case had already overwhelmed several attorneys. I had already worked with three attorneys. My divorce had taken two and a half years, followed by another two years of post-divorce litigation. I was exhausted, frustrated, and beginning to lose hope that the conflict would ever stop. The constant disputes, shifting issues and ongoing tactics from opposing counsel created so much noise that it was difficult to keep the case moving toward a real resolution. Christopher and his team approached it differently. They did not get pulled into every distraction or allow the other side to control the direction of the case. They took the time to understand the full history, separated the chaos from what mattered and built a strategy around the outcome my children and I needed. I wish I had found Christopher at the beginning. It would have saved me years of frustration, uncertainty, money, and searching for a legal team that could manage both the complexity of the case and the tactics that kept it going. This was not a simple case. There were years of repeated, overlapping disputes, court filings, and difficult decisions involving my children. At times, it felt like the other side was more interested in continuing the conflict than finding solutions that were best for my children. Christopher always listened to me and remained focused; even when I was emotionally exhausted by the process. In the end, I we achieved my desired outcome. Since the case concluded, the ongoing tactics and conflict from the other side have also calmed down significantly. After years of always waiting for the next filing, accusation or dispute, that peace means more to me than I can fully explain. I am deeply grateful to Christopher, Cody, Taylor, Carmen, Kristy and the entire team at Forward Legal Services. They took on a case that had already gone through multiple attorneys and years of litigation, and they stayed with it until it was finished. For the first time in more than four years, this case is no longer hanging over my family. My children and I can finally move forward with the peace and stability I prayed about for years. I will always be grateful that Forward Legal Services helped us reach the desired outcome, achieve what is best for my children, and cross the finish line.

Attorney Semenas immediately makes a difficult process feel more manageable through her high level of thoughtfulness, compassion, and professionalism. She takes the time to understand the legal issues involved while also remaining cognizant of the personal and emotional challenges that come with them. Emily C waited one full year to make a decision in my case. In that time, she did not speak with any adults in my child's life who regularly witnessed the abuse and neglect. Her decision was based solely on statements from the accused party.
Medical exams were disregarded as "irrelevant."
She drafted a stipulated order that was violated within the first week. The only consequence was a written warning. Three months later, the order was violated again. Instead of enforcement, responsibility was shifted to me for the other party's noncompliance.
The outcome: court orders are now treated as optional. This GAL's process failed to protect my child and undermined the authority of the court.

As someone who was going to ultimately be getting a divorce. A male in Wisconsin with 2 young kids. My worry was I wouldn’t get adequate time with them and that was my primary focus in the divorce. It took a while but Christopher Krimmer held true to his word and did everything he could to represent me in my best interests. He told me like it was and told me to have reasonable expectations.

He would allow me to vent and reel me back in. He stayed level headed with the mindset to put myself in the best position to get time with my kids.

I did end up getting 50/50 placement and custody.

They charged me for everything they said they would and he did limit communication to a need basis for me. My divorce took over 2 years but not at fault of him or Forward Legal.

Through all of it he advocated for me and did exactly what he said he would do every time. If you’re heading into a divorce and looking for someone to represent you and really have your best interests as a primary focus. Christopher is your guy.

I do NOT recommend this company to represent you in any way. They over promise and under deliver. To lengthy emails (will bill you for every second of their long emails), to not following up to expedite your case, to being very unprofessional when trying to resolve or solution. I would look elsewhere to get any closure to your case, as you’ll waste your money and no value you’ll receive.
