I found Bill Fix through an attorney referral service in the hope that I could locate a decent attorney in my area. I was wrong. I hired him to do my parents estate and probate their Will. After nothing seemed to be happening, I tried to contact him, but he never returned my calls, texts or emails. He has my parents original Will so I don't even know what to do. I have had to pay the bills on the estate and it's slowing killing me financially. I also cannot cash the life insurance check without an estate account. He prepared all the necessary paperwork but never filed with the Probate office. Apparently, he stole my money and ran.

Like others I find here, he took my money and ran. Will not return calls. I’m planning to file a complaint about him with the local Bar association. ….. And I did just that. The bar association directed me to the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility. They launched an investigation and sometime later Bill got in touch with me and wanted to complete the case. Only lost five months worth of time. Nothing like the threat of losing your license to get a lawyer moving.
