Went in today and saw Ryan Finck. This was a first consult to learn more about the process of estate planning and the pros and cons of setting up a trust. Ryan's demeanor was very condescending. I asked him several times to walk me through this as if I was new to estate planning and instead he kept acting like I should have known the process already. I asked to speak with his partner (wife) and he said that she doesn't do any of the estate planning. He also said that there is no reason to set up a trust unless assets total over $14 million, which I believe is untrue. Avoid this place, especially if you are female.

I went in to this attorney to file for a trust, he said there was no reason to have a trust, well I read up on trust be for I went in This attorney recommended to wait,? Wait for what?? I wanted asset protection and a way to see my assets were distributed to who I wanted and the way I wanted.
He was apposed to a trust , I am going to a different attorney to get done what I needed done. I am so up set with this attorney. Then I asked for copies of my mom’s will and my power of attorney and he said I had the originals make copies myself! That’s not what he said when my mom and I originally got those documents Done. He said he would give me additional copies when we needed them.
