I highly recommend Jen and her team for divorce and custody battles. Her and Kayla fought hard for me and in the end I got everything I wanted. She was my 2nd attorney and I wish I had her from the start. Thank you Jen and Kayla for everything you did for my son and I.

Absolutely the best attorney & team around! Called her for a last-minute emergency order and she got the ball rolling immediately. She’s continued to fight for my baby like no other! Would hire her every single time!!

Unorganized. Slow. Unresponsive.

I regret paying her and not just going with the cheaper lawyer in my hometown.

I rarely leave a bad review for anywhere because I believe that everyone has bad days and bad service. However this bad service has gone on for almost 7 months. Everyone was very friendly, very down to earth. It seemed as if they were a “bulldog” of a team for a lawyer with my consultation. However, 6 months into my uncontested divorce process it was apparent that the “bulldog” is either a facade to get your money or only available to those who spend the big bucks.

February 2024: filed an uncontested divorce.

mid May: finalization was pushed back until the end of June due to the paperwork taking a month to get from Trenton to Dyersburg. *No call from their office to inform me of this when it happened. I had to call them to find out a week before I expected to be divorced.

End of June: another document they forgot to have us sign - now mailing priority to Dyersburg after February issue

Early July - multiple calls to their office to find out court date and if I had to be present (I’ve been told this whole time that I would not need to be present for the court but other locals were saying I would)

Early to mid July: “just waiting on the judge to set a date” is the only answer I’ve received from them on multiple calls to check status

Mid July: per my call to the dyer co court clerk, the court is waiting on my lawyer to tell them what date they would like to set. The court explains this is the normal process. I have to call this office and tell them that it is their responsibility to contact the court for a date.

End of July: FINALLY have a court date & I do in fact have to be present - Thank God for my own persistence

I’ve asked multiple times since July “is there anything else I need to do”. Each time the answer is “no”.

July 28th comes and the court date is completed. The judge signed off. I ask Jennifer herself as we are leaving the courthouse: “ is there anything else I need to do”. Again no.

A couple of weeks later I call their office to check on how my child support and retirement splitting process works. They tell me the court handles everything on the child support and Jennifer has to work on the QDRO (retirement) but they need the divorce decree.

The divorce decree is obtained. I call and ask about the QDRO. “Oh Jennifer has to do that. I’ll have to remind her”

Call the court to check on the child support as directed by their office. The court doesn’t handle that the lawyer is supposed to.

Since my lawyer did not file for child support with the child support office I have to apply myself. The application process can take up to 20 business days to open the case. Even if this is the normal process, it would have been nice to know one of the many times I asked “is there anything I need to do”

Fast forward to the end of August (today) , I call their office to check on the QDRO. “Oh Jennifer has to do that. I’ll get with her and let you know.” I said “You told me that a few weeks ago so when will I hear back?” - “
you can email the email address if you would like her to answer”

End of August: I’m finally divorced. Thank God! but I’m still dealing with the backlash of their office’s incapabilities with child support and retirement issues.

She got her money & left me out to dry. This 3 month process is going on 7 months. No child support. No split of the retirement. The paperwork itself has several issues. (I take the blame for signing that but I’ve never done this)

Do not recommend using this office.

I wasn’t going to post this until the QDRO was finished but at this rate I’m not sure that will even happen.
