Amanda was great throughout our entire Chapter 7 process. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and made everything easy to understand from beginning to end. Everything went smoothly, and we always felt like we knew what to expect and what the next step was. We just received our discharge and couldn’t be happier with how everything was handled. We highly recommend Amanda and Financial Relief Law Center to anyone who needs help with bankruptcy.

I do not have enough words to describe how helpful Victor was in the free assessment. He even offered an extra free phone call if I needed it because my situation is really complicated. I was looking into Bankruptcy by the way. And all of this is scary and I was trying not to get emotional because of the terrible choices I made so I'm especially grateful of the understanding he displayed. He was the 2nd lawyer I called for an opinion and I definitely will be coming back for any needs like this again.

I would like to share my story on how I became a client of Financial Relief Law Center. It all starts with that lovely experience we all endured called COVID. Back in 2019, things were a mess, the job was dodgy, took some risks to hedge some financial situations, oh and I was planning on getting married in Spring of 2020. Well guess what? Things went from bad to worst and bankruptcy was the only path left to gain any kind of control. My fiancé was devastated, we had to call off the wedding, not to mention COVID did anything to help... So with that in mind and the love of my wife now (happily married by the way), we had to find a solution. My wife, through a recommendation, was told to look into Financial Relief Law Center. Tears in her eyes, with the recommendation in her hand, hands it over to me saying, ‘You’ve Got to Get This Done for Our Future’... Being in complete financial distress is a horrible experience, one I never care to go through again. Having creditors & the government coming at you is no fun. Talk about anxiety, it was rough. If anything, definitely a life lesson you will never forget. As a result of all this, I turned to the FRLC Team. I was immediately introduced, over the phone (COVID) to the calming voice of Victor Ugarte, the team’s Senior Case Manager. We spoke for about an hour on what it’s like to file for Bankruptcy, what to expect during the length of the case and the outcome. More importantly, explaining to me that I’m not a criminal, life happens and there’s a solution to my situation. That phone call right there, literally change my life and my horizon. To me, it was obvious I had found the right team & set up a phone meeting (COVID) with Amanda Billyard, Managing Partner. Again, like the team, her tone was very calming and we proceed to go to work. Amanda took great care explaining everything, no gray areas and excellent communication throughout the case. Slowly the anxiety started to fade away and recovery was beginning to feel reachable... Well, here we are five years later, my case has been honorably discharged and great thanks goes to Amanda Billyard and her service. My wife & I will forever be grateful to Amanda Billyard and her team for their service. We give you great thanks!

This is a service I paid for and they indeed are a bankruptcy office and yes they finished the job but I did not receive the best service from Rich. I printed and dropped off all my documentation for my case and asked if any information was missing to let me know. I paid for the service some time in late October 2025. I was told my case was on the calendar and would start January 12th because there had to be a 3 month gap from the last time I used my credit card. January 12th hit and I didn’t hear anything and within 2 weeks my calls and texts weren’t being answered. It wasn’t until I called and asked another associate if I could have a new lawyer work on my case. It got to the point where I was close to asking to speak to the main supervisor because I didn’t get any updates. My case started almost 4 weeks late. I was also not informed that being a co-signer/co-owner would affect a car loan that my ex girlfriend was paying and her online access got frozen and she would have to call the bankruptcy offices to make payments on her car. That paper work wasn’t provide but It would have been nice to know that before I even decided to file for Bankruptcy. I had given Rich all my paper work my updated number and emails and I made sure to ask if anything was missing to please let me know. I wanted this to be private and didn’t want to involve anyone but myself for my case. I was told May 4 would be my release date and I asked Rich if he could inform me when I’d be released. My case got discharged May 11 and closed out May 12 and May 14 I got my certificate but I wasn’t received any updates. The only reason I know about all this is because I had to go search up my case online from DocketAlarm a public case docket website instead of hearing from my lawyer when I did all I could to give him my update contact info. They did not make me or my case feel like a priority and the reason I chose this law firm was because of their great reviews. I was left disappointed and will not be recommending this firm in the future.
