UPDATE: I am updating my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Since my initial post, Filippi Law reached out immediately to address my concerns. They were very helpful, quickly restored my access to my California Bizfile account, and successfully resolved the communication and billing issues. I really appreciate a business that listens to feedback and takes swift action to make things right for their clients. [Original Context] While Filippi Law has competent legal knowledge, their administrative practices and client management are highly disappointing. I retained this firm for business legal services, paying several thousand dollars. Shortly after the initial work was completed, I reached out with a single, brief question regarding my case. Instead of a courtesy reply, I promptly received an invoice billing me for a mere six minutes of email correspondence. More critically, I am currently locked out of my California Bizfile account with the Secretary of State. Because Filippi Law initially set up the account as my agent, they restricted my access. I submitted an online request to regain entry to my own business portal over a week ago and have gotten no response from the firm. I hired this firm for help, but their lack of communication and rigid billing practices have only created more administrative work and frustration for me. I cannot recommend their services.
