Mr. Joseph Ferrucci represented me in an unlawful detainer matter that ultimately proceeded to trial and resulted in an unfavorable verdict. Unfortunately, the case was significantly impacted by a series of procedural and administrative issues: * The initial filing was dismissed due to an administrative error. * Subsequent proceedings were delayed and complicated by multiple filings, which were ultimately consolidated by the court. * Critical deposition testimony of a key witness was not properly utilized at trial, reportedly due to another administrative oversight. These issues, in my view, materially affected the outcome of the case. Despite these challenges, I was billed approximately $110,000 in legal fees, and I am now also facing approximately $100,000 in opposing counsel fees, in addition to an estimated $300,000 in total losses resulting from the case. While I acknowledge that Mr. Ferrucci is a courteous and well-intentioned individual, the overall handling of the matter raises serious concerns regarding the reasonableness and value of the services provided. Accordingly, I have filed a Mandatory Fee Arbitration request with the Orange County Bar Association to formally review and resolve this dispute. I will provide further updates following the arbitration proceedings.
