Vehemently and categorically suggest avoiding if there are children involved. My children’s best interests were not just ignored, but falsely represented. Ms Ferguson produced two reports (for $49k) in 12 months as guardian ad litem. Both were late, chock full of hearsay (later not even admitted into court), and downright untruthful. She even lied about meeting my kids’ father late in the afternoon/evening when I had not disclosed that I had a PI/tracking device on his vehicle.

I also found she was quick to “threaten,” e.g.,with a rule to show cause, if I was late with paying my bill for the “guardian” duties OR if I had the audacity to question her assessment/judgment and/or the conflicts of interest she did not disclose.

One star because “no stars” is not an option. Horrible, gut wrenching experience that may take generations to correct due to Ferguson’s simply not doing the right thing.
