Fechtman Law Office

I consulted with Bob Fechtman after being referred to him by 2 neighbors who are attorneys and my own family who used him to set with a up a trust for a disabled child. I needed an attorney to direct me in setting up a trust for my disabled brother. I found Bob to be knowledgeable and responsive during our first phone conversation. He didn't seem to have time to offer me an in person meeting but sat up a second phone meeting with the Arc of Indiana. He failed to call me. After this I called his office and he told me he was going to consult with an attorney who had helped me from another state and we sat up a third meeting. Again I got no phone call. I then e mailed him and after 7 days have had no response. His failure to respond is insulting and unprofessional. He wasted my time and put in jeopardy getting an issue resolved in a timely manner. This attorney obviously has gotten too busy to take on new clients but isn't professional enough to simply say no.

Bob helped my parents navigate some pretty sophisticated struggles as my Dad's dementia was worsening and continued to work for my Mom after my Dad passed away. Bob is extremely knowledgeable and caring. Ended up saving my Mom a significant amount of money and more importantly, he spared her much of the inevitable stress that happen with a partner passing... He is the kind of counselor you want when dealing with deeply personal and sensitive issues.

Bob was recommended to us as an elder law attorney. After several video my meetings, we meet face to face. We had more than a few questions about estate planning including setting up a Guardianship for our son. Bob was patient and very willing to educate us on the subject. His suggestions have been very good and much appreciated. Personally, I feel that I can unreservedly recommend Bob as for senior estate planning.
