My wife & I decided to move forward with FW&T in 2022. The motivation was primarily around ensuring that our children would go to the guardianship of our choosing and not the state. Additionally any life insurance funds would be distributed on a schedule that we thought best. We didn't fit the "wealthy" demographic & we didn't have much to pass on in terms of inheritance. However, avoiding probate in every area possible was worth the investment along with the other adjacent documents like power of attorney, medical power of attorney, and asset distribution etc.
Since then we have sold and purchased a house, started a business & grown our retirement accounts. That along with the other normal parts of aging-changing vehicles, acquiring non-monetary assets & family keep-sakes highlight the need to keep our Trust and other documents up to date.
Stuart has treated us like we matter. I leave feeling cared for. Our questions are answered and explained in a way that affirms that we have a partner and an advocate vs. being an inconvenience.

It is time and money well spent. Zero regrets.
