Review of Gary Perotin Our experience with the Law Office of Gary A. Perotin was extremely disappointing. We hired Mr. Perotin in February 2026 and paid him $1,500 to prepare estate-planning documents for elderly relatives who knew Mr. Perotin personally. We understood that the work would take approximately three weeks. We did not know at the time that his practice focused on divorce and family law; we retained him based on our relative’s recommendation. After approximately two months, despite numerous phone calls, emails and requests for updates, the Trust had still not been completed and signed. Communication was extremely difficult. We gave Mr. Perotin written notice of our concerns and a final opportunity to provide the completed Trust so that it could be reviewed and signed. Ultimately, we had to retain another estate-planning law firm and pay them to start over and complete the estate plan. Unfortunately, during the delay, one of our relatives suffered a serious medical event and became unable to sign legal documents. This was particularly upsetting because his declining health was one of the reasons we wanted the estate planning completed promptly. We requested a refund of the $1,500 but did not receive one. I recognize that unexpected circumstances can happen, and Mr. Perotin told us that he had been in an automobile accident during this period. We were sympathetic and patient. Our primary concerns were the prolonged delay, difficulty communicating with him, and the fact that we ultimately had to hire and pay another attorney to complete the work. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend his law office.

I hired this attorney because at the beginning he seemed sincere in helping me with my divorce. It did not end well for me and I feel it was just about his payments. Always asking for more $$. He didn't even advise me when my divorce was final! I found out on my own and had to call his office to confirm!

DO not use this attorney, he kept our money from a trust fund. We have reported him to the Bar Assoc, run as fast as you can!

Do not use this attorney. His office is unprofessional and non responsive. His office had many erroneous charges that were not consistent with the work the he claimed was being done. The Bar Association is aware of this attorney and his office staff.

I have been working with Gary and Lauren for a long time now. He helped me through my divorce which was long and gruelling. He dealt with my ex-husband who is not an easy person to speak to and all communications were organized and efficient with his assistant Lauren. Recently I had to reopen my case because my ex-husband was in contempt of court and the process went very smooth. I have referred a couple of friends to Gary. Gary is knowledgeable. I was happy with him and his office.
