I needed help with my family law situation. I decided to call Ewaniszyk Law Firm after looking at the reviews. I called a left a message and Thomas Ponce returned my call. Thomas asked me to come in for a consultation. Once I met with him and went through the details, my case was straightforward and there was really nothing to litigate. Thomas did not take the case. He could have took the case and just took my money, but he did not. Instead he gave me direction on what I needed to do for my situation. He gave me his business card with his email address and told me to email him as much as I needed. Since then, he has been a tremendous help! I cannot thank Thomas enough. If you are looking for a family law attorney, I would call Ewaniszyk Law Firm and talk to Thomas. He is a great honest guy that will take care of you when you need it the most.

NO NO NO NO AND NO… based 100% off my opinion and thoughts from my own experience DON’T HIRE DIANA OR THIS LAWFIRM.

I hired Diana because of the hype Thomas told Me. I hired her for child support/custody changes. I wish I didn’t due to my experience with them. I didn’t lose the case but I don’t feel like She negotiate for my son to get everything that he deserved. I felt like my ex husband got helped on the child support side. I also feel like that was a horrible experience and in my opinion she is rude in the way she communicates. End result My ex husband got a 2400 “hardship credit” which I still don’t underStand this because he never qualified for one before for having “other” kids.This lowered his child support TREMENDOUSLY! I Should have not have signed on this and took this in front of a judge or I should’ve just negotiate myself and let go of the Diana and negotiate it for my ex-husband to get half of the hardship credit but nothing I can do about it now because I signed it thinking I was able to trust . Now my ex-husband gets a hardship credit of $2400 and only pays me A little over 1200 in child support . Guy Boyvee never gave him any hardship credit . My ex husband lied about having a 2400 rental income property on his declaration I found this out after everything was signed and done. The end result my ex husband came out very happy and I’m the one who paid her 20K. I would NOT recommend them to ANYONE. I also told her i didn’t want to pay flights because my ex husband was the one leaving the state and long story short she had me sign that I pay 100 towards every flight. Dude is in military and constantly moves. So again lowering his child support. I can go on and on but based off my personal experience, I would recommend go elsewhere don’t hire anyone just stand infront of judge yourself. The only positive about this law firm is they told me I didn’t need them
because I had a winning case.
*Again during the negotiation process on our last hearing, both of the lawyers went in a room to negotiate without me present and my ex husbands lawyer came out with his printed out calculations, his lawyer already incorporated The “hardship credit” in the calculator and included me paying 100$ per flight and Diana Agreed to it And encourage me to agree to agree to it. Just side note I’m a stay home mom who care takes for my autistic child who has no income which also made no sense why I judged for someone who has no job To pay for flights just another way to lower his child support . NO negotiation on her end so if you want to be screwed over this is the place for you! I wish I fired her on the spot and took this to the judge myself. I would honestly recommend you guys hire my ex husband law firm they fought very hard for him there law firm is called Christian and Shanks law office. I’m very very surprised they have good reviews! For someone who hired Diana as my lawyer I feel like it was a total loss for me. In my opinion she encouraged me to sign a child support agreement that literally saved my ex husband hundreds of dollars and told me. I should’ve fired her and took my chances standing INFRONT of a judge myself. IN MY OPINION I WOULDNT HIRE HIRE THIS WOMAN EVER . I feel like she played both sides for me so quick to charge me money but quicker to make sure my ex husband saved hundreds monthly! If your lawyer agreed to giving the other party hard ship credits fire them on the spot they ain’t fighting for you. And if a lawyer says “a judge would give them credit or there entitled hardship credit” fire them on the spot that’s bullcrap. Hard ship Credit for child support should be approved by a judge NOT LAWYERS! Don’t let Thomas hype you up I promise it’s a waste of money. I should report her. Now my son won’t get everything he is entitled because I signed it thinking I can trust her. My child support went from about $1280 with her and dropped to $1225 about after her yeah you do the math 20K later ..
