I would strongly encourage anyone considering Estavillo Law Group to do very careful due diligence before hiring this firm.

My experience involved significant frustration with billing practices, lack of traction on the matter, and repeated assurances that did not translate into meaningful progress. Over time, it felt like a lot of discussion without measurable movement on the case.

Communication became difficult when concerns were raised about billing and compliance with the terms of the engagement. Instead of addressing those concerns directly, the situation ultimately escalated into a dispute regarding charges.

Prospective clients should also take the time to review publicly available information regarding the firm and its leadership, including any disciplinary history listed with the State Bar of California. That information is publicly accessible and may help inform your decision before retaining counsel.

There are many capable attorneys and firms available. Based on my experience, I would personally choose a different firm if I had the opportunity to do it over again.

My husband, David and I are both thankful to have found Estavillo Law Group as a real estate attorney. Jason Estavillo acted quickly to rescue us, when a bank placed an “abstract of judgement” lien on our primary residence, at the Martinez, CA courthouse. Jason paved the way by guiding his law firm team members; Michael Arikat and Elizabeth Hurwitz, both to immediately reach out to us! With all of their knowledge they successfully completed our case, and got us to the finish line! A full “satisfaction of judgement” was notarized by the banks’ legal counsel, and the lien was removed by our bank. We are forever grateful to Jason, Michael and Elizabeth, for saving our property from turning into a foreclosure!
