I hired Mr. Estavillo for a case he described as simple, however I found various discrepancies after getting opinions from other law group. I'm currently attempting to reach out with no response from his law office after 2 months. This office also has high-turn over rate with multiple bounce back emails that employees no longer work here which is concerning. Overall, I spent $30k with no case resolution.

I would strongly encourage anyone considering Estavillo Law Group to do very careful due diligence before hiring this firm.

My experience involved significant frustration with billing practices, lack of traction on the matter, and repeated assurances that did not translate into meaningful progress. Over time, it felt like a lot of discussion without measurable movement on the case.

Communication became difficult when concerns were raised about billing and compliance with the terms of the engagement. Instead of addressing those concerns directly, the situation ultimately escalated into a dispute regarding charges.

Prospective clients should also take the time to review publicly available information regarding the firm and its leadership, including any disciplinary history listed with the State Bar of California. That information is publicly accessible and may help inform your decision before retaining counsel.

There are many capable attorneys and firms available. Based on my experience, I would personally choose a different firm if I had the opportunity to do it over again.

Jason is an outstanding real estate attorney. My case was very complicated, and he played a crucial role in working with my mortgage company and guiding me through the process. My husband, David and I are both thankful to have found Estavillo Law Group as a real estate attorney. Jason Estavillo acted quickly to rescue us, when a bank placed an “abstract of judgement” lien on our primary residence, at the Martinez, CA courthouse. Jason paved the way by guiding his law firm team members; Michael Arikat and Elizabeth Hurwitz, both to immediately reach out to us! With all of their knowledge they successfully completed our case, and got us to the finish line! A full “satisfaction of judgement” was notarized by the banks’ legal counsel, and the lien was removed by our bank. We are forever grateful to Jason, Michael and Elizabeth, for saving our property from turning into a foreclosure!

I strongly advise anyone considering this firm to take your case elsewhere. My experience with Estavillo Law Group has been extremely disappointing and frustrating.

The firm has a high turnover rate, which results in a lack of consistency and follow-through. Jason, the owner of the firm, has demonstrated a lack of integrity and accountability throughout the process. Our case was never finalized, and despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter, they are refusing to return our retainer.

I have made dozens of phone calls and sent multiple emails with no response. Whenever I call, I am told no one is available to speak with me, and I never receive a call back. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable for a law firm.

Due to their mishandling of our case, I have been in contact with the California Bar Association to take further action. I highly recommend finding a different law firm that will treat you and your case with the respect, transparency, and communication you deserve.
