I hired Emily Reed as my attorney back in August for a straightforward case involving my son's father, believing her assurance that it would be a simple process. After paying nearly $2,000, I expected timely communication and updates. However, by October, I hadn’t heard a single update despite multiple calls and voicemails.

When I looked up reviews, I found several one-star ratings citing the same issues I was experiencing: poor communication and lack of follow-up. Realizing I wasn't the only one facing these problems, I decided to end my relationship with the firm and seek help elsewhere.

During my visit to the office to terminate services, I was informed that Emily's mother had passed away, which I understand is a difficult situation. However, the lack of communication from their side made me feel neglected as a client. I was told I would receive an itemized bill and a refund, but after a week of waiting with no updates, I returned to the office only to be met with rudeness and unprofessionalism from the receptionist.

Instead of addressing my concerns, he accused me of lacking sympathy for Emily’s loss, which was completely inappropriate. I was simply a client seeking clarity and my money back for services not rendered. To top it off, he even threatened to call the police when I inquired about my refund.

I strongly advise anyone looking for legal representation to consider other options. My experience with this office has been thoroughly disappointing, and the lack of professionalism is alarming.
