Wonderful, professional, and with compassion and integrity! We reached out (via email late at night) to Ellis Law Group in desperate need of some immediate help with a family law matter. Ms. Ellis returned our call first thing the next morning, however even before calling us, she had already reached out to the respective parties and had an answer for us before she even called us back! Two other well respected attorneys also gave us advice but of course didn't make a move without a retainer and payment. Ms. Ellis stepped in, above and beyond and resolved an extremely emotional and contentious matter for us with one phone call before she even called us back. We owe a lot of thanks and emotional stability to Ms. Ellis' fast action with compassion and integrity! We absolutely recommend their services and will be using them ahain for future needs. I contacted Ellis Law Firm about six weeks ago to handle a custody issue with two children that needed immediate action. No one returned my call after the first week so I called them again. The secretary assured me that I would get a return call. I waited another week and I went to her office and told them I would wait for her to get off of the phone and I would appreciate if she could squeeze me in for a 15 minute appointment to see if she would be able to represent the case. I waited for 20 minutes and the secretary told me she would not be able to see me, but she would be in contact with me. It’s been six weeks and I have not heard one word from that office. I would not recommend Ellis Law Firm located on Church Street in Honesdale. Don’t waste your time just go to another attorney who will respect your needs.
