My attorney (initials K.S) was horrible and gave me bad advice throughout my case. I was fired for being out of work, and she advised me not to accept the severance. After the deadline to accept it had passed, she then told me she could no longer help me with that issue. For months, I received little to no communication from her. I would call and repeatedly be told that I would receive a call back, but no one ever contacted me. I eventually became so frustrated that I called and demanded to speak with her directly. Instead of addressing my concerns, she complained to me about how busy she was and how much work she had. To make matters worse, my paralegal was no longer with the firm, and I was never assigned a replacement. I had been under the impression that the paralegal was simply ignoring my calls and messages, only to later find out that he had been fired. No one ever informed me. I only found this out during the rant my attorney went on about how much work she had and how overwhelmed she was. Her workload is not my responsibility. I was her client, and I should have been kept informed about what was happening with my case and who was handling it. NEVER AGAIN!
