I used this man in 2009 to represent me in a divorce. Why am I just now writing, going through some old papers and it all came to me again. My ex, now dead filed divorce against me. I was out of state working, but I had to have attorney in Memphis. After I paid him, This man never returned my calls, his office staff never helped me. My ex had illegally signed my name and divorced me. Lenow never sought punishment for that. It ended up in mediation, not in my favor. I was so inexperienced and stupid. Married for 35 yrs, my dad was dying, I lost my out of state job. I remember a day at the courthouse another atty asked Lenow, with a laugh, “what are YOU doing here?” To sum it up, don’t ever use this attorney? you will be so sorry. I called a few yrs back just to tell him how sorry he was. If I ever get to Memphis I’ll tell him to his face. He is totally inadequate, non-responsive, his non-action affected my life for many years. He must have bought his law degree, if he has one.

If I could give zero stars I would. It took YEARS to get a divorce. Also I was told by him he would help with custody/visitation of my children and he did not. Never got to see that or visitation. Lenow doesn't help you when you need it. He doesn't like answering your questions. He rushes you off the phone. He treats your case like it isn't important. Using this lawyer actually made my case worse for me and guess what? I was the one cheated on and spouse had another child. But did that matter nope because he did not provide actual legal help to me. He prolonged my case and he actually helped the defense the person who caused the divorce to basically win in court. DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NO EVER USE EDWIN C LENOW AS A LAWYER COUNSELOR OR ANYTHING. He will not help you but lie, lie, lie!!!!!
