Several months back I went on a holiday to Mexico. When I came back through customs I was quite shocked to be pulled out and told I had a felony warrant from thirty years ago. Honestly and earnestly I couldn't remember the details that caused the warrant to be written.

I'm an old man now often in a wheelchair with many health issues. So you can imagine that I did not want this old case to chase me to the end of my life. I live in California and didn't know anybody in the Gainesville, FL region in which this warrant was written.

I found Andy Ingram and he gave me a phone consultation as to the particulars to my case. He explained to me that the only way to deal with this warrant would be that I would have to surrender myself back in Florida, which I was fully prepared to do and accept personal responsibility but I must confess I had hoped he'd be able to resolve it without that outcome. I also must confess he under charged me. I feel as if what he actually had to do to resolve the case should have cost me more money than he charged me.

After several months he actually resolved the case for me in such a fashion that I did not have to surrender myself and he got the warrant removed and the case dismissed. While any criminal defendant wants that outcome, it's not always possible or even reasonable. I offered Andy more money because I felt strong that he under charged me and he refused to accept one dollar more than what we agreed to initially.

So here it is, I found an attorney who gave me a very reasonable rate, honored his word, kept his pledge, gave a damn, and dispensed my case in the most beneficial way to me personally.

If you wind up with a lousy attorney it's because you didn't hire this guy. I believe I was innocent of the criminal charge, as I tried to recall I think there was more to the story than the simple facts as it appeared. These circumstances can always be complex. But the simple solution is to get an attorney who has a good command of the law and who is a man of his word.
