Truly want to thank Duncan Law/Tax for helping with my estate planning. My husband and I have avoided it for years because we thought it would be so confusing and stressful. Now we understand how important it is and it wasn’t difficult at all once Jessica explained everything so clearly. Highly recommend this firm to everyone. We take so many trips and have 3 children and I wish we would have done this sooner. Finally can travel without that extra worry. Five stars!

I’m sharing my experience to highlight serious concerns about professional conduct at this firm. After learning that my father had forged my mother’s signature on prior tax authorization forms, I notified the firm in writing. Despite that notice, no one contacted my mother to verify or address the issue, and the firm continued to work only with my father on joint tax matters. When I raised this, a staff member stated that my mother “was not entitled” to see documentation related to her own joint return — a statement that is factually incorrect and contrary to professional ethics. Based on this experience, I believe the firm failed to exercise appropriate due diligence and impartiality. I would advise others, especially married clients, to seek a preparer who demonstrates integrity, transparency, and equal representation for both parties.
