I recently had the privilege of working with Galen Gentry and his associate attorney Josh at Downey Brand in Sacramento on a civil case. From start to finish, they were outstanding. When we walked into the building lobby, there was a person behind the counter who did not address us and did not help us. We went to the elevators and none of the elevators were working and we couldn't figure out the reason why. When we went back to the desk he made a funny comment and chuckled that he is in control of the elevators from his cell phone (snarky) and then he asked us who we were there to see. There were no signs and nobody to help us when we came through the door that could have stopped us from going into those elevators and wasting our time. When we got upstairs we had a receptionist whom we left a check with who had no idea on how to address the fact that we wanted to have a receipt for the check we dropped off. We found that Odd as if we were the first person that ever dropped off a check in a lawyer's office before. The building is very large the parking was awkward. There was no client parking spots in the entire garage. The whole experience was challenging.
