We recently purchased a home where Dominic was representing the seller. We made the only offical offer. Asking price, conventional mortgage, home sold as is with no inspections, contingent on our home selling. He demanded our $3000 earnest deposit as well as an additional $5000 be put up as a NON refundable deposit incase the sale were to fall through or not close on the target date for any reason at all. After nearly 2 weeks of trying to come up with a compromise, including the final one that the seller herself agreed to, Dominic refused to accept anything other than what he originally demanded. He only backed down after we said okay then we’ll just walk and find another house. The only reason we stuck around as long as we did was because this house was one of the only properties that checked every major box we were looking for. Both our attorney and agent have been doing this longer than I’ve been alive and told us the only reason they can see him doing what he did was just to be difficult and try and get what he wants. It still confuses me why this played out the way it did because nobody would’ve gotten paid unless we bought the house, so why treat us so poorly we almost had to walk.

Dominic and Terry are very knowledgeable and absolutely have your best interest in mind with every aspect of a sale. There were no surprises. I have never had an encounter with such a ‘down to earth’ attorney. He is the best!
