I simply cannot say enough good things about Disability Resolution and Attorney Walter Hnot III! I was at the end of my rope when I contacted his office. His manager Shelley interviewed me and then Walter called me back HIMSELF. Walter does NOT take cases unless he feels they have a good chance of winning, so as not to get hopes up or waste anyone's time, which I appreciate!
--Attorney Walter is very direct and honest and personable. I found him on YouTube and began watching his videos months before I contacted him. He is so very knowledgeable. His YouTube videos provide a wealth of knowledge and are FREE even if you do not hire him. He honestly believes in helping people. I was denied TWICE before hiring him even though I honestly believed I was qualified for SSDI. I had my medical documents and treatments documented. A LOT of people are turned down twice before getting to see a judge.
--Anyway, being old school myself, it is hard for me to admit that I cannot do everything I used to do. I needed Shelley to ride my ass a little and take the time to speak to me and ask pointed questions about my daily activities and admit (to myself firstly) how my impairments affect me, how often I even leave my own house, what activities I do outside the home (or do NOT do,) on and on. I surely would have been denied again if I had not come to terms with what is going on, even though I am already classified as 100% disabled through the VA. I just thought I should be approved because I can no longer work, and I did not want to really talk about or write about every detail of what I can no longer do. If you want to get approved to the program you paid into all your life, you HAVE to talk and write about it honestly.
--Attorney Walter requires that you do your homework, watch his videos, PREPARE, which is super hard when you don't feel good in the first place. He is patient and encouraging. He is a good judge of character, understanding, and tough when you need someone to tell it like it is, which I appreciate and NEED.
--I owe Disability Resolution so MUCH! I highly recommend! The fees are not paid unless you win, and are capped by law, so he doesn't make that much anyway. He must just be highly committed to making a grand difference in disabled people's lives. I wish I could just jump up and give that guy a big hug. I cried and cried after my WIN, so long coming, so emotional, so difficult, and he and Shelley were with me every step of the way.
--You have to be committed to doing the work and following directions though. Getting the medical records, doing all kinds of things as you can, when you are able.
--Disability Resolution is in Florida and I am in California, but it's worth it to hire him no matter where you are, even with time differences. I honestly feel that this business is the VERY BEST you can get if you have a case.
--As I said, it costs NOTHING initially to see if he will take your case, and the fees are capped by law if you win.
