Dianne M Fetzer Attorney At Law

Long time client with Fetzer's group. There are only a handful of attorneys in Sacramento that are top notch, and Fetzer's office is the best one to work with. I've also worked with Bartholomew & Wasznicky , a reputable office as well and I interviewed half a dozen attorneys in town before making my decision. What really set Fetzer's office apart for me is the communication is thorough, they are detail oriented, and have a "been there, done that" energy throughout the process. Dianne is great and so is her staff, I really like her paralegal.

For my situation, I have a very difficult ex that has made every turn of the divorce a nightmare for both me and the kids. I needed a lot of hand-holding and without Fetzer's approachability the bad moments in the divorce would have been even worse and perhaps insurmountable. My ex's attorney was more of a "hired gun" with little professionalism that tried virtually every trick in the book from "Emergency hearings", 3111 investigations, false police reports, etc. to make our case into a character smearing contest. The best attorney you can have in family law is a reasonable, prepared, kids first focused professional that will set you up for success with the mediator(s), evaluators, and the judge.

There is some sticker shock with the bill, but I wouldn't say it's an obnoxiously larger margin than any other attorney in town. With family court it's better to put your best foot forward at the beginning of your case because returning to court would cost even more and you could lose time with your kids. Fetzer is a step ahead, it's worth the peace of mind.

I had the opportunity to use Dianne Fetzer's services over the years and each time she was a class act. She is an incredible and level headed attorney who is great at her practice. Thank you Dianne for all that you have done for my family.

I should have wrote this review YEARS AGO! And honestly the only reason I decided to write it now is because I googled her for the first time in years and saw Diane is not ranked as I would rank her. So I am doing my part since she has done so much for me over the years.

Diane has advised me on legal matters on two or three different occasions throughout my life. And honestly if it wasn't for her, I likely wouldn't have the relationship that I have with my son today.

When he was 2 (he is 19 now!) his mother moved to Idaho with him and it was turmoil for me, her, and our son. We were both young, and the breakup and divorce was nasty. Looking back now, me and my ex were both thinking about our own self interests first.... and we both wanted our son.

Diane stepped in and did was right for the person who mattered most: our son. I know it's been a long time Diane, but thank you!
The relationship I got to build with him over time has been worth more than anything else in my life.

And after the few years of steam with my ex cleared, we actually developed a healthy friendship and made co-parenting work as best as possible for the situation.

Divorce is never fun I don't imagine. But I highly recommend hiring an attorney like Diane who has the compassion and heart to listen and truly care, plus the knowledge and tact to give you an advantage.

That's how I felt it worked for me at least. And good people are good people, that doesn't change even though it's 17 years later lol!

This attorney got it wrong addressing a family law case some years ago and now it has come home to roost blaming her. She simply is a know all and knows nothing about some things. Simply a bully!!

If you want a facilitator for an amicable resolution, DO NOT RETAIN HER AS YOUR DISSOLUTION ATTORNEY!! SHE'S BITTER ABOUT SOMETHING OR SOMEONE IN HER LIFE OR THE LACK THEREOF.

Believe me, I know good counsel by the labors of their fruit and this attorney is serving rotten apples.....
