I hired attorney Rudy Mayor to represent me in a highly complex probate and trust dispute involving fraudulent trust amendments and severe breaches of fiduciary duty. After paying him $7,000, his only actual accomplishment was securing an Assignment of Rights for a related corporate fraud claim. He completely failed to do the primary job he was hired for: he never filed the probate lawsuit against the opposing parties.

Instead of aggressively litigating my case, he sent communications to opposing counsel containing massive factual errors regarding the financial value of my claims, and he did so without allowing me to review or approve the message first. We had a due date for a response, and both he and his assistant were unavailable for a week after the due date - leaving me with no answer.

When I refused to settle for less than 1/3 of what I was filing for and insisted on taking the probate case to court, he refused to represent me in filing the lawsuit. I paid thousands of dollars for demand letters and emails, but when it came time to actually litigating the case, he walked away. If you need a probate litigator who will actually fight for you in court, look elsewhere.
