Reached out to the firm to get information. A $300 consultation fee to determine if it’s a good fit between parties is not a best practice since reputable firms do that for free especially if we mutually decide it is not the best fit for one or both of us.

I paid for an initial consultation, over the phone. I was being harassed by the new board, and needed help. My $300 got me a referral to another HOA law firm . Jon didn’t think he could help This made the problem even more upsetting. I thought I would get help, Don’t fall for these initial consultation prices, a good firm will have a legal review before you come in if they are interested. In your case. Trying to explain over the phone seemed impossible, with Jon, you are always dealing with dates and if you don’t see it, I believe attorneys can relate..
