One of the Worst Legal Experiences of My Life

A few years ago, I hired Lin Delaney to represent me in my divorce based on a recommendation. Initially, she earned my trust by pretending to care, but that façade quickly crumbled. Her lack of attention to detail, refusal to listen, and aggressive tactics severely harmed my case. When I raised concerns, she became defensive and even threatened to drop my case unless I complied with her approach—one that ultimately led to the most unfavorable settlement possible.

After my case concluded, another attorney discovered egregious errors and lapses in judgment on her part. They successfully litigated on my behalf, proving just how much damage Lin had done. Throughout my representation, she was distracted by personal issues and the dissolution of her former firm, leaving my case caught in the chaos.

Seeing her again today randomly at the supermarket brought back all of the painful memories back and only reinforced my disbelief that someone so incompetent and lacking in empathy could be considered a good attorney. If zero stars were an option, she would deserve it. Avoid her at all costs.

Terrible firm. Milk clients for every penny with no results. Can’t keep a meeting time and constantly running out for more important clients. Make a lot of promises, but do nothing. Condescending and insulting all while collecting whatever they can take you for. Stay away. Their endless delays hurt my case and my life. Choose any other firm.
