I hired Mr. DeCurtins to handle my husband’s case after speaking with 11 different lawyers that day. Reliving a traumatizing story over and over was exhausting, but Mr. DeCurtins immediately stood out because of his confidence and energy. When I told him I randomly picked his name out of a google search, he joked about thinking I was a referral and that he was special, but the truth is, he REALLY IS special because of how he handles his work. I've recently read some of the negative reviews here, and while I empathize with anyone whose had a poor experience, that was absolutely not the case for me. He took care of our case and got the best results possible. As a mom and an older sibling, I’m the natural problem-solver everyone looks to for answers and help, which makes it incredibly hard for me to just sit tight and wait around when things are out of my control. But I had to learn that patience is needed in legal matters. You have to trust the process. While I know from other reviews that he is incredibly communicative with many, in my specific situation he wasn't overly chatty or calling all the time. For someone like me who has to be "in the know", that quietness could have been concerning at first, but I quickly realized it was just because he was pouring 100% of his energy into our defense behind the scenes. I had to learn that he was simply doing his job, and working incredibly hard to protect us. That dedication became completely clear the first time I saw him in person at my husband’s first court appearance. Watching the way he moved in that courtroom gave me instant reassurance. He told me initially, 'I am one of the best, I have been doing this over 40 years, I know people, and I LIKE TO WIN.' He made no promises, which I understood, but his actions backed up his words completely. Mr. DeCurtins values his reputation and takes his job incredibly seriously. If you put your trust in him and have patience, he will fight for you. Its been mentioned that many reviews here focus on standard traffic matters. Please allow me to clear up any doubts: mine was a serious criminal defense case, and he completely delivered the victory we needed. Hi, Everyone!! 😌 I highly recommend Robert DeCurtins and the DeCurtins Law Office. My son has been a very busy bee, so I’m not going to sit here and pretend we walked away with a “win.” What I will say is that Robert fought for my son. He was attentive, knew exactly what needed to be done, and worked hard to make sure my son did not receive the amount of time he could have been given. “My son was facing a much more serious amount of time, and Robert fought hard on his behalf and negotiated an outcome of six months in prison followed by six months of probation. As a mother, I will always be grateful for that. 🥹 Robert knows his stuff, and when it was time to fight for my son’s case, he did just that.
