I am updating my original review following a recent experience with Lightstone Law.
I received a letter from their firm threatening legal action related to a matter in which my business had no known involvement. The letter required a response within ten days to determine fault for an incident that occurred at a neighboring property, despite no evidence connecting us to the issue.
This was particularly surprising given that I have personally used Lightstone Law for numerous business matters over the years and have referred many clients to their firm. Because of that history, I was disappointed by what felt like an oversight in issuing an aggressive and unfounded notice without first verifying the facts.
After I reached out and raised a potential conflict of interest, Lightstone withdrew from representing their client in this matter. While I appreciate that resolution, I remain disappointed that the situation escalated to that point in the first place.
