James Baltz is the worst atty (or associate whatever he is) ever dealt in my entire life. He turned our real estate transaction in a nightmare!!

Never dealt with a closing attorney this bad.
James Baltz made everything super hard for us. Don't waste your money and time with this law office. I am sure there are ton of better ones out there. I don't think anyone can do a worst job than this guy anyway.

Not trust worthy. Do not recommend

The law office of David A. Rikard are unprofessional and unreliable. After over a year, with little to no updates or information on our case - I was emailed “GOD DAMN ALL PROBATE CLIENTS!!!!”. No apology from David Rikard. After requesting update after update - I received zero promised call backs.

I took it upon myself to check in with the surrogate court, as well as the NY tax department to find out the status — which was that NOTHING was filed. This is information that I was able to obtain in less than 24 hours, but nearly 10 reach outs - almost monthly to the law offices - I was not able to get any actual evidence of what was being worked on/filed.

Although quick to take a $5,000 retainer in March 2023, not one actual update has been given and absolutely no questions have been answered.

Multiple calls to the office have resulted in no response, but message taken on David Rikard’s behalf.

David’s belief about ALL probate clients is truly disturbing, as this is law that he practices. If he cannot handle probate law and representing those clients - then he should shut his doors.
