If I could give Dania Fernandez & Associates a 0 negative rating, I absolutely would. I have been trying to resolve an issue with my HOA collection account since January 2026, and after more than seven months of emails, phone calls, and repeated requests for assistance, I am still fighting to obtain information that I believe I am entitled to receive. The level of customer service I have experienced has been beyond disappointing. On July 7, 2026, I spoke with Lisa Andrade, Collections Manager, and spent a significant amount of time explaining the history of my account and the issues I had been trying to resolve for months. During that conversation, I specifically requested my 11 payments ledger, once again after several months of requesting it and I left that call believing she understood my concerns and would provide the documentation. Instead, today I received another call telling me that I owe more than $3,000 and that my account became delinquent in August. What shocked me most was that Ms. Andrade appeared to have no recollection of who I was, our previous conversation or the months of correspondence regarding my account. After everything I have gone through since January, I was forced to explain my situation all over again. What made the experience even worse was the way I was treated. Throughout my interactions, I felt talked down to, belittled, and spoken to in a disrespectful manner. When I politely expressed that I was uncomfortable with her tone, her response was: “I will not change the way that I speak because this is how I speak to my husband, my kids, and my dog.” I found that statement to be incredibly offensive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable from someone representing a law firm and communicating with clients. As someone who works in healthcare and deals with hundreds of families, I understand the importance of professionalism, documentation, and respectful communication. Even when I cannot immediately recall every detail, I review my notes before speaking with someone because every client deserves to feel heard and respected. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. After more than seven months of trying to resolve this matter, I still have no answers, no accountability, and no confidence that this firm is interested in resolving customer concerns fairly or professionally. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Dania Fernandez & Associates. If you are considering working with this firm, I strongly encourage you to do your research, read the reviews carefully, and make an informed decision. If you’re sent to this “so called“ attorneys office for collections like I was, please be ready to fight back or get legal advice for yourself before making any contact. Now I sit here being threaten with a lien to my house when I’ve been communicating and trying to resolve this matter for months. I don’t understand how theres only one person you can talk to in that firm. Sometimes I wonder if Dania and Lisa are the same person. Nothing shocks me anymore. Sincerely, A.Martinez

My experience with this law firm was amazing. Every time that I have emailed the staff I have received a response, maybe not right away but within a day or two at the most. Lisa and Elizabeth were both very courteous and respectful in communicating with myself and/or my husband. Lisa always patient and ready with a detailed explanation. I would highly recommend this law firm as Ms. Fernandez legal ethics are beyond reproach and you could not ask for a better bunch of ladies to attend to you.

Horrible service, no communication, no help. I don't even know if this is a real person I've gone multiple times to her office and I have never met her.

My experience was genuinely horrible from start to finish. There was absolutely no response to any of my messages, and the complete lack of communication was incredibly frustrating. I kept waiting for updates, answers, or even the smallest acknowledgment, but nothing ever came. It felt as though my concerns were simply ignored, and that level of disregard is unacceptable for any service or business.
Because of this, I cannot recommend them at all. Reliable communication is the bare minimum, and unfortunately, they failed to meet even that. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere to avoid the same disappointing experience.
