Im not sure if most of these reviews are real or made up. I’m sure they could have had some good enough cases, but my experience was the entire opposite. If you receive a call from them, it is likely because you’re not insured, not aware of how this works (receiving a settlement), or just in a situation where you’re likely desperate of free legal help. As someone who identifies with one or more of these I accepted it as it felt like it was indeed my only option. I was also unemployed at the time and facing financial hardship. With all of that being said, PLEASEEEE AND I REPEAT PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was in my accident in April (Easter to be exact) and was hit by a drunk driver. I did not have insurance and so you can get an idea of how the situation was at the time. I did not receive my car settlement until end of August due to the other insurance yes, but also the attorney I had with D & Z not being a great attorney as well. My BI (bodily injury) settlement didn’t come through until Sept and will be 30% of theirs plus a $200 fee added on top of that just FYI! It’s based on the chiro appointments and how many times you go as well as proven injuries. The amount I got was WAY less than I deserved and had to split with another person (my car settlement) whose car got grazed and barely damaged! Mines was TOTALED. Yes, while I know I was uninsured and certain CA LAWS are put into place to make me be penalized, my case was not fought for as much as it could’ve been! Just like things can be moved around and overlooked when it comes to them getting what they want, the same could be done for you depending on who it is fighting for your case! Again, not every situation may be like mines but there’s always a catch when things are offered because nothing is ever free, remember that. I’ve learned a lot from this to say the least and I advise you use Legal Shield which is an affordable subscription starting as low as $30! All the way up to $50 I believe. Best of luck and please weigh all of your options even in your most desperate moments.
