Hired Mr. Horn for a case. He was by far the most polite, professional and knowledgeable attorney. While other attorneys didn't believe in my case, he made sure all concerns were addressed and we won the case. Highly recommend!

My husband and I hired this attorney in 2023 to help us get full custody of his children. He claimed he couldn’t find the other party to serve paperwork, and our case went nowhere for two years.
In 2025, we hired a new attorney who immediately located and served the other party without any issues. We finally got our kids back - something that should have happened in 2023.
Additionally, despite multiple email requests (which I have documented), he has never provided us with an itemized bill for his services. This lack of transparency is completely unprofessional. What took our new lawyer weeks to accomplish, he claimed was impossible for two years. I strongly recommend finding a different attorney who will actually fight for your family.

Update: Still waiting for that itemized bill we’ve requested multiple times.

David did exactly what he said he was going to do in beating a dwi case for my husband and it was money well spent.

David Horn has been my child custody lawyer for 8 years. He helped me win custody of my daughter when certain issues made that necessary—and now, years later, I’m back in court and once again have complete faith in him.

He’s also represented me in other legal matters over the years. He was recently my defense attorney and he put in SO much time and hard work preparing for my case--planning, researching (in depth) similar cases to use in his argument, consulting other attorneys, etc. He works hard and does everything he can to get the best result. David is incredibly smart, diligent, articulate and overall, he cares about his clients. He knows his clients stories, remembers details from years ago, and fights for you like it’s personal.

And, as for the negative comments. I'm not really sure what that's about. Everybody has their own experience.

What I can say is this: He cares. He's honest. He puts in the work for his clients. He's fair with his pricing. But, the biggest thing is, he knows what he's doing! I wouldn't have stuck with him for 8 years if I'd ever had a bad experience. I trust him 100%.

If you want a lawyer who will stand by you and go above and beyond—David REALLY is the one.

I agree with Kurt! These guys did the same thing to me!! All positive for a year leading up to trial. Paid $12,000.00 and then on the day we were supposed to argue for suppression he got scared I guess so he said it was in our best interest to take a plea bargain because the judge never granted anyone else a suppression and we probably wouldn't be the first. They gave us approx. 10 mins to decide and since he was no longer confident what was I supposed to do? Horrible about returning calls or answering questions they are not seeking justice for victims of crooked police and abuse of power! They won't stand up for you once it goes to trial!! If you have a criminal case- save your money and hire John Wesley Hall instead. 🤬 He knows exactly what I'm talking about. What a joke. He still doesn't know anything about us.
