What truly set Alex apart was her compassion and kindness. Going through a divorce is incredibly daunting, and there were moments when I felt lost and scared. However, Attorney Jaquay was always there to guide me, patiently explaining each step of the process. Her support and reassurance made a world of difference during such a difficult time.
In addition, the support staff at Cullen Family Law Group were incredibly helpful and responsive. They answered every question I had and always made sure I felt heard. Every time I called, whoever I spoke to was happy to help, patient, and kind with me.
If you need a family law attorney who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely cares about your well-being, look no further than Cullen Family Law Group. They are an exceptional firm and are even better people. Thank you, Attorney Jaquay, for everything you've done for me and my family.

The partner failed to cover all basis of our case prior to court and didn't respond after . I spoke w her approx 3 times since July.2022 when I hired her on . The partner Valerie Murphy decides to retire family law abruptly w no run down on your case nor appropriately handing it over to an experienced attorney. I will be disputing the 30k and services provided . There were several paralegals working the case & lack of knowledge & response even while being patient . Consultations were set w new attorneys and cancelled last minute on a few occasions to find out these attorneys were never hired. All this correspondence costs money . I was lied to regarding my attorney completing a settlement conference & charged but even better they continued to lie after confirming that she did so to find out from the courts she had not .
Next a very arrogant attorney is hired who spends her consultation telling something totally false as sue for one isn't informed in the case but also is asking you questions about it vs doing her homework at their expense vs mine as their partner in the firm Valerie Cullen leaving was not my problem and I should had never been charged. One court appearance & 3 conversations very little on my behalf . Trust me go elsewhere.
Valerie was very calm & seemed to know law in our appearance in court but bailing on clients last minute and lying isn't acceptable . Office staff stated incorrect information no one knew what was going on from the left hand to the right. The remaining owner of the from Ms.Murphy didn't even take the time to speak w me nor contact me in any way to make me feel welcomed and my case being handled . Absolutely not acceptable and I will be contacting the State Bar in this matter. Paralegals are rude , don't have the case straight , instead of being honest put new demands on a new settlement conference when you just submitted everything yet never stating the hearing didn't take place and another says it didn't and office manager confirms it did and she'll get the minute order.
No they billed me for all communication even though their firm fell apart . It was in some communications told to me what do you think we are going thru we have to change our business cards, website etc etc WHAT? I can understand but don't compare that w my legal case that can either be handled or not . It's my opinion that your case won't be their number 1 priority and it's an insult to one's intelligence in how you as a client are treated . Due to deaths & illness I requested a continuance and this Mona ( new attorney who's argumentative & a time waster w an ego) wouldn't approve and knew zero that the opposing party already requested one . She insulted me and told me I don't know what I'm talking about & requested that I send her a copy . She again insulted me saying I'm not supposed to have contact w opposing attorneys which I had not so that's another conversation she dragged on not allowing me to talk . I had received the continuance request from their office and she knew nothing of it plus spent my time insulting me . She requested I send it to her if I do indeed have this and telling me I don't know what I'm talking about . I told her it came from their firm doesn't she have access . As a unsettling moment I went ahead and as well sent the request her firm sent me anyways to be sure it's handled . No apology at all nor any response. She's insulting , has an ego issue . Was argumentative even about if my husband paid 1/2 of a vacant rental property mortgage sue stated that's considered alimony - it's not if it's mutual debt and a investment . I'd say run from this company . Do not trust your case whatever the situation might be w this firm . Extremely unprofessional and instead of representing me she files a request to be released from the case yet I wasn't even sure I wanted her to handle my case due to her lack of knowledge or interest and extremely insulting demeanor. No bio on this attorney and she spent time telling you how much better she was on a random call which I had no appt for & billing me for time she rambled on.
I signed the substitution of attorney after being told since numerous doctors stated I'm not well enough to go to court and no response from this Mona .
I had questions regarding this and one minute told they aren't representing me and next they are still but informed me I didn't need to go to court the next day if signed . I called opposing attorney to kindly give them notice as well and it's a good thing I called the courts the next morning as I would've just been a no show and lost my case .
This firm uses an outdated system for you to load your docs and you'll spend days of time doing so and once you try to submit it fails , has wrong yrs to choose from, etcetc Which in the end takes more of their time.

She is very carefully presenting certain details and omitting others to publicly make a case that they handled things perfectly. They did not. Did they do anything illegal or in breach of our contract? Absolutely not. But they did not provide a good service. It was a struggle to connect with the attorney, and no matter how many times I explained what I wanted, the history of my case, the direction I wanted to go etc., every time I spoke with the attorney, we were staring from scratch.
It appeared the goal was to file as many motions as possible, bill the most they can, and get me the most money I could legally get by then end. Some people would be happy with that, I explained over and over that wasn't my goal. I knew we could settle out of court and as far as money went, I didn't want to "get the most I could" and leave my ex struggling. I wanted what was fair and sustainable for both of us, and they would not listen. That's why I had to move on and negotiate with my ex on my own and finish my own case alone. Everything they did was a complete waste of money for me and only added to my stress. And they knew I wasn't happy. I expressed my dissatisfaction many times. No one addressed it. But here, publicly, now I hear from Heather.
Judging from what I experienced, they are good at filing motions. They are not good at connecting with their clients, listening to what they want, communicating in meaningful or useful ways, remembering case details, or strategizing based on the clients values and goals. If you're looking for someone to handle your case on auto pilot, just filing every motion they legally can, and you don't need an individualized service, go with them. If you want your preferences and personal situation to matter I definitely would not.

A very sincere thank you from E. E. E. And M&A

No matter how much you pay is worth it. 😊 😊 The happiness on my grandkids faces when they knew that the petition was granted it was worth every single penny. Thank you Stephanie Reyes
