I hired Jennifer to represent my uncle. At first, she sounded promising. Stold us the job would take “about 12 hours,” welcomed my help as his niece, and even asked my profession (I told her I’m in accounting). She said, “Good, now I know who I’m dealing with.” I organized and prepared all his documents, condensed everything into simple summaries to save time and money, and expected a professional, efficient process. Unfortunately, that’s not how things went. • Missed deadlines and ignored emails: For about two months, she said she would send the proposal to the opposing party but never did. I had to follow up weekly, and when she finally replied, we were billed for those communications. • Clerical errors billed to us: She made repeated clerical mistakes in filings and correspondence, which we then had to correct — yet we were charged for her time fixing those errors. • Avoiding responsibility instead of correcting issues: When we pointed out inconsistencies and errors, she began emailing about withdrawing as counsel rather than addressing our concerns. • Poor preparation for court: She never briefed my uncle before his hearing and instead texted me during the hearing with instructions on what to tell him, such as “STFU”. English is his second language yet once the concerns were raised she insisted she would only meet with him alone and refused to allow me to interpret, making communication nearly impossible, which is ILLEGAL. • Communication breakdown after we raised issues: Once we brought up her mistakes, she stopped dealing with me directly, even though she had previously approved my involvement and told me she was glad someone detail-oriented was helping. Because of these issues, we now have to hire a new attorney to get caught up and fix the mess left behind. This caused unnecessary delays, stress, and extra expense. We plan to file a complaint with the State Bar regarding our experience. I’m sharing this review so others can make an informed decision, get every promise in writing, confirm timelines and billing in advance, and read other reviews carefully before hiring. (Once we decided to change attorneys, I reviewed and questioned several overbilled or inconsistent charges, and as a result, I received a partial refund.)

I would recommend Jennifer Crumpley with all my heart, she is an amazing person who is willing to go above and beyond for everyone she helps! She is responsive and very knowledgeable, And will always take the time that is truly needed in each situation in a case! I have had the pleasure of having Miss Crumpley advise me on a number of legal cases and every time it has been the best experience, and in the situations I have needed advice on they have always been resolved with the best outcome.

I entered my claim with Mom, Patricia Crumpley, which immediately passed off my divorce case to her daughter, Jennifer, who was just freshly starting off her career & apparently learning. Bummer. Oh big bummer. Long story short... and thousands $'s Iater, a total loss and had to pick up the valuable pieces and move on to a whole new law firm. This experience soured me for a decade now, and I will never forget. I went into debt with empty promises to keep pursuing... at a very costly amount paid to her, Jennifer Crumpley. Sounds like they (mom & daughter) have a good thing going on now... too bad it took this long, and some of us got taken advantage of big time, at a time we really needed help. It was their time of transition and learning how to make their business successful...unfortunately. Obviously, I have not forgotten. God knows, they forgot about me, after the monthly statements were all paid on time - in full - month after month. I take it Jennifer caught on & is making it good in the business. Congrats. I'm 10 yrs too late. Learning stage - for more than just myself. Yes, I obviously needed to vent & was asked to leave an honest review. I do not feel the need to dig up old bones from long ago as this has been buried. Lesson learned. I seek counsel elsewhere now.

Went through a divorce and found Crumpley & Crumpley on Yelp. I first called for advice and Jennifer was VERY helpful and friendly. She answered all of my questions and was pretty responsive. This was my first divorce so I had a lot of questions and she explained to me the process and walked me through it from beginning to end. I didn’t need to Jennifer to represent me as this was a short term marriage under 4 years and was an amicable divorce. She helped me with all the paperwork and made suggestions to protect myself just in case. She knows her stuff and just wanted the best for me. Jennifer really went out of her way to help me and I can’t thank her enough. I definitely recommend her for your legal needs.
