My 24 year old son with Autism, JW was recently falsy accused of a crime. The police went to his residence asking questions. Ic know Attorney Robert Carroll, of Crowell Law Firm, through a friend. Months ago I gave all (4) of my adult children Robert's card to keep on them just in case. JW was anxious to the point of panic and contacted Rob explaining what had happened. Due to the autism, JW has some difficultly communicating, regulating his emotions and processing information. Rob gave him clear instructions, in a calming manner, letting him know that there's nothing to fear, followed by what to do next. Rob told him not to speak to the accuser or the police without contacting him. JW OBVIOUSLY did not commit the crime, plenty of evidence. If the police decide to further investigate, our family will be hiring Crowell law firm. Having a 6'3, sturdy built son with autism, the fear of run-ins with law enforcement are real.
