Nonresponsive. Not a great look for a law firm.

I contacted Conrad & Scherer for their expertise in “Complex Civil Litigation,” “Commercial Fraud Litigation,” and “Trust & Probate Litigation.” Despite their claims of handling high-stakes cases nationwide, my experience was disappointing. On March 4, I emailed them detailed case information, receiving an automated promise of a 24-hour response, which never came. I followed up on March 9, and was assured Spencer would call, but he didn’t. It took over a month to schedule an interview with partner Janine McGuire. She engaged with the case strategy and advised me to gather documents from my mother’s realtor. Afterward, they issued an Hourly Retainer Agreement with blank-check clauses, like a $30,000 cash balance and annual rate increases. I negotiated these terms and requested an expanded “Scope of Work” to include commercial fraud claims. Instead of negotiating, Ms. McGuire announced their withdrawal, citing complexity and case load. This was unprofessional, as they had all case details for over a month. Prospective clients should be cautious of their disorganized intake and retainer clauses.

They don’t do what I was looking for but wow service is amazing here — Shout out to Kevin!

You guys claim you didn't receive any calls and that's bull. the lady who answers said these cases about bank fraud or hard to win unless you report within 24 hours. You need to check your recorded calls before you try to counter my negative review that is factual.

I have been dealing with Chris for over 5 years now. I highly recommend him.
