I am a victim of severe domestic violence by my husband I just married earlier this year. I left him, but for reasons both based on logic as well as falling for the performance of a lifetime, I did go back,

Something I took issue with at the time and heavily objected to, as they had my husband on recorded jail calls admitting to hitting me, choking me, trying to kill me, the charge he was held on, and the "reason" he did it, they offered him a deal when he would have been pleading guilty! Then, they didn't even give him *any* probation!

He has an extensively violent criminal record, has been convicted of killing, and this would have been a felony as a habitual offender.

It's been 39 days since he was picked up on the misdemeanor and felony charges related to my attacks. No one has talked to me, from the CA or V.W. about my attacks or anything related to my abuser at all.

When I became concerned enough I asked Lyria at V.W. to forward to the Commonwealth my email mentioning considering the news article I'd sent stating Charlottesville was *the* domestic violence capital of Virginia and considering how they handled the first charge, combined with how these charges were being handled, I should go to the press.

The next day, Senior Asst to the Commonwealth, Andrew Wilder, blew up my phone trying to contact me, but as writing is a necessary accomodation related to my preexisting TBI, and the second beating by my husband was so severe I may never drive again and the left side of my head is numb from nerve damage, Im having severe neurological issues related to that and it is even more critical. As V.W. knew, and I also stated it in his letter. When he failed to reach me by phone, he emailed me, asking me to get in touch with him.

I replied.

I've since sent several questions, as well as an entire email when I happened to talk to one of his ex-wives who had been beaten severely, he killed two dogs and left her a voice-mail bragging about it, etc., who was willing to help me and wanted to be involved in my case against Tony. (That case was prosecuted). He also beat their son so severely that he developed epilepsy.

He was burning up my phone (while violating my federal rights) asking me to call him on January 3rd. It's now past C.O.B on Janury 8th, and it's *crickets* He needed to talk to me so urgently, he blew up my phone and then emailed me asking to call him... Yet, 5 days later, he still hasn't responded?

It sure is funny how no one at V.W.or the CA office will communicate in writing. I even sent formal requests for comments on various situations, and all were equally ignored. (In my articles, I'll happily say the CA refused to comment).

Edit: 3 days after posting this, coincidentally the day after I CC'd him what I'd written to the Chief Presiding Judge of J&D, I was notified my cases prosecution of my husband was transferred to Fluvanna, over a "conflict" matter.

To be clear: December 1st was the day my ex tried to kill me. On the 23rd, I was the victim of legal abuse by my mother, who abused me so horrifically as a child I was *actually* diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder which I developed at 7 and related disability accomodations directly related to it have been granted to me by the director of OAR, while my legal abuse is pending. She has also mentally, psychologically, emotionally, reactively, and medically abused me my whole life.

The judge who let me sign myself out ensured there would be no conflict, and I'd still be able to receive V.W. services, but as *my* case predated hers, her legal abuse was the one that should have conflicted out, if somehow one developed 17 days after assuring the judge there wasn't. But they *dumped* the case I'm a victim in, to conveniently keep the case they get to *try* me for.

The day after, the new CA corrected his charges to 2 felonies, which was just another thing I never heard back about.

If he'd appropriately been on probation, maybe he wouldn't have choked me 2 days after his release, or at least there would be more charges I could pursue.

The C.A. displayed incredible professionalism, impartiality, and respect to duty following 8/12/17. Maybe you have to be a lawyer to appreciate him, but that shouldn’t be so. He is a soldier for rule of law and democracy. He deserves re-election.

I give 1 star because but-for the delay of the prosecutors in deciding whether they could even take my case (a delay of greater than ONE YEAR), I was unable to recover the $2,000 I lost due to internet fraud. I was unable to recover because after a year the evidence regarding the internet communications between the scammer and the bank holder was allegedly GONE. Justice failed because of needless administrative delays.
