Collins Ritchie & Ervin

I am writing this review to document serious misconduct by attorney Matthew Ritchie, supported by evidence and ongoing cases. Ritchie’s client, a multi‑time felon, hired him and stated on record that he was retained on my behalf. The client instructed me via text to answer Ritchie’s calls, which came daily from blocked numbers. I refused, finding the practice bizarre. Later, I discovered that Ritchie, who was supposed to contact authorities on my behalf, was instead deleting evidence from my Zotero account, leaving only circumstantial fragments to make me appear unstable. He is on record asking for login access under the guise of assisting me, while in reality fabricating a case against me. I have hundreds of texts from the client praising Ritchie’s supposed work on my case, only to later learn that Ritchie was deleting evidence and cropping text message screenshots to portray me as “dangerous.” Sacramento police discovered a fabricated restraining order written by Ritchie that used my landlord’s address instead of mine, and even altered my race and birthdate to bypass sheriff delivery. Police opened a case and refused to serve the order. During this time, the client purchased elaborate gifts and attempted to convince me everything was fine, while simultaneously orchestrating harassment. I was nearly abducted by an armed man who broke into my property after Ritchie and his client gave him my gate code. I also have video evidence of another man, dressed in black, screaming outside my home and attempting to open my gate lock. Most recently, Ritchie attempted to bypass the police refusal by filing a duplicate restraining order, both of which contained unlawful move‑out provisions designed to remove me from my home. The client, who stole my card and laundered $30,000, placed himself on my lease despite never living at the property. Ritchie acted to protect his client from accountability, despite the client’s documented abuse of me for over a decade. I now have multiple cases pending against these parties and will be filing a bar report. Matthew Ritchie is not a trustworthy attorney. His actions align him with criminals, and his misconduct has placed my life in danger. This review is provided to ensure the public is aware of his fraudulent practices and ongoing abuse of the legal system. I have included two screenshots documenting decades of abuse inflicted by Matthew Ritchie’s client. Ritchie is in possession of these images and actively assisted his client in covering them up to prevent me from seeking help from law enforcement. Despite this, I opened cases regardless. I also included a screenshot showing just a few of the hundreds of texts where Ritchie’s client spent months trying to convince me that Ritchie was a “civil litigator” working on my behalf. My website links to folders containing more texts, including messages pressuring me to cut off contact with a newspaper interested in my case, clear obstruction. I was told on record that “all attorneys call from blocked numbers” to coerce me into answering Ritchie’s nonstop daily calls. Instead of dropping his client when fraud was exposed, Ritchie escalated, attempting to have me seriously injured to silence me. Last Thursday, an armed man broke into my property using a gate code provided by Ritchie and his client. I have video evidence of this same individual tampering with my gate lock. At this point, Ritchie’s actions go beyond fraud, this is racketeering and conspiracy to commit serious bodily harm. My family has also been harassed with repeated blocked calls, including four in a row immediately after I reported the attempted abduction to police. I am in fear for my life due to Matthew Ritchie and his clients actions.
