My experience with Colby Law Firm was extremely disappointing. After the firm took my case, communication was virtually nonexistent for about a year. When I finally heard from them, I was asked to repeat information I had already provided, which made me feel as though my case had not been reviewed carefully. I also noticed mistakes and inaccuracies in my complaint that gave me the impression the details of my case had not been fully understood. Shortly after that, I was informed that the firm would be withdrawing from my case. By that point, my litigation was well underway, making it significantly more difficult to find new counsel. Since then, I have spoken with multiple attorneys who expressed concern about the timing of the withdrawal and how challenging it can be for a client to secure new representation at that stage of a case. Throughout my time with the firm, I never felt heard, supported, or like my case was a priority.
