I had a problem with the IRS due to accidently using W-2, rather than a 1099R. I received notices from the IRS stating that I failed to claim income. I examined my return and found that the correct amount was reported, just wrong form. I mailed my response to the tax court in DC, but they sent my case to the tax court in Miami. The case was settled as the IRS attorney saw the mistake and filed the documents. However, a couple of months later I received another IRS notice about the same case and with late fees/interest applied. I contacted Mr. Kehoe and he immediately responded with an email and phone call. He reviewed my case, gave me sound advice and necessary things to do and send to him. I followed through, likewise Chris did as well. He set up a phone conference with the attorney at the Miami tax court. He was able to have my case settled in less than a month.
