Avoid Margaret Morris.

I hired Chenhalls Nissen to file my EB-1 petition sponsored by a university. After I provided all the materials, I experienced unfulfilled promises and numerous delays that lasted over a year. After looping in the senior attorney at the firm in an attempt to move things forward, I finally received a draft, but it appears to be a rushed product filled with serious errors, including the wrong university name and facts carried over from another client's file. These are not minor typos, but are evidence of a petition built from a template that was not carefully reviewed, let alone crafted to a strong case.
The entire purpose of EB-1 is to expedite the process. The delays alone defeated that purpose. The quality of the work made it impossible to approve for filing.
Specifically, I would avoid Margaret Morris. Over the course of a year she went silent for months at a time, made promises she did not keep, and when she finally delivered a draft it was full of errors from another client's file. When I documented these errors and requested a refund, she went silent again — leaving her supervising attorney to apologize on her behalf, issue a refund, and take over the case personally.

I share this so other international scholars, for whom the stakes of an immigration filing could not be higher, can make an informed decision.

If your hands are tied to work with this firm (they have done some good work for other people), just make sure you avoid Margaret Morris at any cost.

Kelley and her team take your case as if it was their own case.
They are really the right people for the right case. I received a great service and got my immigration petition approved in 11 days.
