Petersburg LA refused to take our case even though we qualified for income. Our rental house has been sold, and a predatory owner-developer is trying to force us off the property although my partner has undergone recent leg amputation, is in rehab, and we cannot move immediately. We are in danger of losing our possessions and pets; we have been told by PLA that we 'have no case' and they have declined to give us any type of legal representation. This seems outlandish, but apparently there's nothing we can do.

The day I stopped by the office was closed (after having been closed all week prior due to Columbus Day), and the receptionist was quite rude about refusing entrance. All in all , the experience has not been a satisfactory or pleasant one with regard to PLA. Cannot recommend them with any degree of enthusiasm.
